Outside of Ace, one major critique of One Piece in general is that Oda is afraid to permanently kill off anyone who isn’t a completely secondary character
Even more than the last one? That series is beyond obnoxious. Edit: Oh, never mind, it's the same one.
Not that it makes much difference but I meant the manga, not the anime Spoiler below if you care. Chizuru rejected Kazuya after he finally told her he was in love with her...
Anyway, has that story really been going on for two years in-universe time? And they still haven't figured shit out yet? Are they stupid? Does this happen to people in real life?
I can't lie, I'd watch it. I'm now intrigued by my own idea of a rental villainess and want to know what that even means.
I just can’t believe the author is playing us like this man. Kazuya has all those girls after him but he’s busy being a fence post taking 380 chapters to confess to the girl who doesn’t want him
Well wait, I hate to do this, but I have to stop you there. Kazuya has already confessed, that's no longer the issue and hasn't been for quite some time now. The issue is Chizuru, and really has mostly always been Chizuru, because she's been incredibly reluctant throughout the whole series to be in any kind of relationship. It's nothing to do with Kazuya, I think it's just completely to do with her own headspace. I do wonder though what's going through the writer's head dragging this out so long, both in realtime and in fictional time. I mean, is it really just about milking the product at this point? Because I can't imagine a guy who is married with a kid thinks this is a realistic thing to happen to two people. I mean, if this was even just within a year, I could buy it more, but two years? I feel like in reality either Kazuya would've given up long ago or Chizuru would have figured herself out by now.
New chapter just dropped and I admit I really haven't been following along with the story for a while beyond broad strokes, but it does kind of sound like it's going somewhere.
GATE Anime Gets Sequel Based on 'Season 2' Novels I can't fucking believe it. On the one hand, it sucks they're skipping the rest of Season 1's story and all the side stories. On the other hand, I'm amazed we're getting anything.
The new season of Bunny Girl Senpai started airing but CrunchyRoll still hasn't released the last two movies. That's like releasing the fourth season of a show without releasing the second and third season...real dumb.
Turkey! Anime Posts New Title, Video, Visual, More Cast After Plot Twist Spoiler alert for the bowling anime Turkey, this is an incredibly wild plot twist. How many "girls have a hobby" anime can claim they become a time travel isekai by the end of their first episode?
