I need to cut down on my subscriptions. What’s worth watching on Crunchyroll that isn’t or won’t be on Hulu? I have both and Hulu seems to have a ton of anime.
I started reading the manga and the anime cuts a lot out. It’s actually pretty crazy. But I guess it’s a budget thing because I guess it doesn’t really affect the story in the end.
How popular is Shangri-La Frontier? Idk if I’m just not part of whatever part of the internet that talks about it, but this series deserves way more hype behind it.
Far better than both of those shows, and I like them both to some degree. I’m a dub person and the dub is great too. If you like video games, humor, and amazing battles, then I highly recommend checking it out.
was watching: orb (good). currently watching: apothecary diaries (great). still watching: solo leveling (bad, but am 12-year-old boy on inside)
See previous comments if you want a new show to watch. But also Apothecary Diaries is so damn good. Love that show.
I haven't watched the show, but I've seen a lot of clips and I have watched Overlord, so I feel comfortable in saying they're very different. Overlord is more or less an isekai premise, Shangri-La is about gamers who play in multiple games, not stuck in one. They spend time in the real world too.
Unless you weren't interested in the clips you saw because I don't think your mind would change. But I think you'd appreciate more it as a gamer. And I know I can't get you to watch the dub, but I think the dub actually kinda makes it because of the material.
Can't watch the dub, man. Can't do it. Shan't. I have been meaning to watch it though. I've kind of fallen off anime for a bit. I didn't even finish My Next Life As A Villainess, even though I liked it. I still want to finish that and then pick up some more stuff.
basically the sequel to Nichijou. Read some of the manga and it's really fun, can't wait. starts in July. 26 episodes
A video came up on my YouTube feed that looked like an anime about mice girls that looked cute, but the animation and vibe looked off and I thought "weird, sometimes they're small and sometimes they're human-sized." Then I read the description, found out it was AI, and mentally vomited.
