I started hearing of terms like yandere around the time Mirai Nikki came out. It got really annoying when people would use those terms to describe others in real life. But I guess that's through no fault of the show itself--Yuno is actually a pretty good character--so it's not a fair reason to hate the show. I think what I hated about the show was that after it introduced (incoming spoiler for really late into the series) time travel, which I'm actually usually a fan of the resolution was, without getting more specific, not as good as I'd hoped.
i'm on like ep 17 or 18, so i'm gonna finish it. i like it enough so far, but i've heard the ending is polarizing.
yeah. so i'm assuming between eps 12-14 then? haha. i'm looking forward to finishing it as i am with MN
I just finished the second season of Showa Genroku Rakugo Shinjuu and it was beautiful. Take a bow, Mamoru Hatakeyama (director) and Studio Deen. Straight into my top ten.
i finished mirai nikki and watched the redial OVA. not sure what to think. i think if i gave it a score it will be 7/10. it was pretty good, but those last few episodes kinda threw me off. i also feel really uncomfortable with the yuki/yuno relationship. she was pretty manipulative and abusive towards him. i'm not really a fan of either character. i liked akise more than them, lol
I just started My Hero Academia this morning since everyone in this thread was saying good things. I really liked the first episode and can't wait to dig deeper in.
i should probably start this new season. have been reading it weekly since it debuted and its rare to find a shonen series that is this consistent for this long, still fantastic
MHA is one of the few shows where I've considered picking up the manga just because I love it so much.
Steins;Gate was great. I loved it. I encourage everyone to watch it. Those last few episodes were really something. Definitely would easily end up in a top 10 list for me.
I'm really enjoying this new Chinese gaming anime called Quan Zhi Gao Shou, haha. Here it is: Quan Zhi Gao Shou
AOT just had a massive reveal episode today, fucking awesome. I had to read a bit of the manga cuz I got impatient so I knew what was going to happen, but still. Watching it animated is something else, haha.
I love how they retained how casual the reveal was. I had to read that page in the manga over several times just to comprehend it.
AOT was cool and now I can't wait for the next episode but I continue to hate the use of CGI in anime. MHA was amazing as usual but every episode I get more tempted to go read the manga. I loooove tournaments!!
I need to watch AOT again after I finish twin peaks and after dragon ball super because my co-worker really wants me to watch it.
