Finished Komi Can't Communicate. Such an adorable show, Komi's reactions are so great to watch. For my next watch, I'm deciding between the equally adorable looking The Demon Girl Next Door and generic mildly-ecchi harem action show #255, Hundred.
I understand Fujimoto’s assistants went off to make their own things, but he needs to hire some new people. The art on Chainsaw Man has been rougghhhh lately. Half the panels look like rough sketches
The funny thing is I’ve watched less than 100 episodes of One Piece and have no idea who anyone even is. Lol I only know of Tony Tony Chopper because people had a meltdown over getting his funkos.
MHA anime stuff I guess spoiler wise man they gave all for one like seven different phases during this final battle lmao that’s more than most video games
Nah since Endeavor burned him, this second rewind phase has all been one phase - he’s functionally unkillable, but they’re trying to stall him + hurting him speeds up the rewind process. He’s on a time limit
Damn this JJK ending has been pretty shit. And I can’t imagine the last chapter next week can even redeem it at this point. What a bummer way to go out. MHA’s ending was a bit of a let down too, but that was mostly just because of my own expectations. JJK’s last couple chapters were just outright bad imo. Hopefully other people are enjoying it still though and hopefully Gege surprises me with the final chapter.
Yeah unless JJK has an incredible twist ending in the last chapter (entirely possible!), this past month has been unbelievably disappointing. I feel like there’s another ~6 months worth of material I would have liked here. There’s a couple people I follow who have done an amazing job analyzing the story, and theirs is a rare case where I really would have preferred the fan theories over how it’s actually ending
It’d probably be more of a Chainsaw Man situation, but if we’re just talking continuation in general, then not totally impossible. It wouldn’t the be the first time JJK fans huffing copium got to say they were right. Lmao But I really doubt it personally. I also don’t know if that would even help much. It wouldn’t fix how rushed the whole last arc was and how crap the actual ending has been so far with one chapter left. I guess it’d also kinda be a slap in the face to fans to rush this and then just end up continuing it.
The Demon Girl Next Door is so super adorable and charming. Finished half of Season 1 and we're just about to be introduced to Mikan-kan-Mikan-kan-kan-Mikan-kan-Mikan. (This joke makes sense in context.)
Edit: sorry xkaylinh, didn’t mean to quote you in this Yeah CSM is a more apt comparison because with Shippuden there was literally no resolved conflict, whereas here all of the conflict has been resolved (but unlike CSM, just in a really bad way). And I’m doubtful bc with CSM there were still so many possibilities left since “Control” is pretty obviously not the scariest concept to fear — like I think people still expect the Death Devil or some equivalent to be the big apocalyptic one, whereas here they literally killed the *king* of curses…there’s no “greater” enemy to face, he has been touted from the beginning as the strongest to *ever* exist
