First episode of Eccentric Family s2 is great. Glad this show got a second season. Haven't decided yet if there's anything else I'll follow this season, aside from essentially Bahamut once I finish the first season.
Your Name./Kimi no Na wa. (sub) is such an amazing feature. You all should go see it in the cinema! It has grossed more than Spirited Away globally, just with international markets too! Here is a spoiler-free review I blogged if you want to know a little more about the film.. The original Japanese trailer (sub) is embedded within the post.
I strongly recommend it! I've also seen nothing but positive reviews for it with the lowest review being a 7/10 from IGN (yeah, that was the lowest grading IGN could give to this masterpiece, proving how good it really is). It may not become an all time favorite for some, but this feature is definitely worth seeing cinematically.
Ohno, I know it's supposed to be great and I've wanted to see it for a while now. The issue is more getting my lazy ass to a theatre lol. I actually didn't know it was coming to theatres here until I happened to check what's out.
No particular order here Gurren Lagann Fate/Zero Puella Madoka Magica Baccano Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood Mob Psycho 100 One Punch Man Jojo's Bizarre Adventure Cowboy Bebop FLCL Attack On Titan Durarara Seems like I need to watch No Game No Life
Saw Your Name last night and it gave me a rare ocurrance of the anime bug, so I'm finally 7 episodes into Attack on Titan. @lightning13 is very happy about this. Haha
Got to see Your Name at the Alamo Drafthouse in San Francisco, which was fucking glorious! Movie was good, but I think I was just more enthralled by the fact that I don't think I've ever seen any anime film - let alone any film with subtitles - on a screen that big before.
Anybody else here checked out 91 Days or Flip Flappers? About three episodes into Terror in Resonance right now. Quality of the animation is blowing my fucking mind.
Finally did my taxes this weekend, lol. Got a nice refund coming my way so I ordered both seasons of Noragami and Kyousougiga on bluray.
Started watching Steins Gate last night. Really liking it so far. Coming into anime as someone who has gotten into it recently, I feel like I have so much I need to watch right now and I love it. Its such an amazing feeling being able to experience all this wonderful stuff for the first time.
Awesome. Hope you enjoy Steins Gate. It was also one of my first anime (if I don't count the odd Ghibli film and whatever was on North American TV). I got into anime in late 2011, right around the time Steins Gate finished airing.
not at all. i'm on ep 10, so i think you mean around ep 12 right? conversely, i enjoyed the first half of death note better than the second half. if i said why, then it would be a spoiler, haha
Watched the first four episodes of My Hero Academia today. Really digging it. Should really have checked it out long before now.
finished princess jellyfish and i loved it. but the ending felt a bit rushed. :( i wanted more out of that last episode for sure. i think i have about 10 more episodes until i'm done with mirai nikki - it's creepy af.
We're talking about Steins;Gate, yeah? I can't remember which episode, but it's around the halfway point. Princess Jellyfish is so, so good. I hope they make more. Mirai Nikki made me so angry, but I can't even remember why anymore haha.
