The only average arc. After that, the next six arcs feel like one big arc and are less self-contained imo, so it’s hard to rank.
Netflix is adding some more anime. None of these are the most current seasons for the shows, so that’s weird. Edit: except Haikyu!!
Perfect Blue is my favorite, but they're all good. Been a while since I've seen some of them, though.
It doesn't have that sort of "soft haze" filter that the original had, but I think they did a good job modernizing it while keeping the character designs intact.
Also, maybe I'm in the minority, while I like the romance, that's not what makes me watch the show at all. It's Sawako. It's her and how she makes friends and gains confidence and how she interacts with others. The romance is a nice cherry, but her going from being an outcast to getting her first friends is so nice.
That clip is from a movie that's over 20yrs old. You can tell from the way it includes an actor who died a decade ago
Before the internet, when people couldn’t look up the pronunciation of Evangelion supposedly Robin Williams was a fan of the show and requested it be an Eva toy which is kind of weird
I don't think people will ever stop talking about Eva. It's one of the greatest, most influential, anime ever.
Watching Eva as a kid has fully shaped me into who I am today. I think virtually every creative thing I do is somehow influenced by it.
It might have been close to when the world shut down or during but watching it for the first time on Netflix was crazy.
I don't think I have any one piece of art that's shaped me like that. That's pretty cool you have that
The last EVA movie literally came out last year. Yes, it’s still a thing. You don’t have to do this any time you dislike something lol
