Newest Frieren episode is nuts, some of the coolest magic fights I’ve seen

 

My wife started the Pokemon anime from episode one. Welp.

 

Anyone else checking out Sand Land? Kinda forgot it was out today since there was basically no promo

 

Last week I went grocery shopping and my brother wanted this birthday cake ice cream, and it was a BOGO so I bought rum raisin.

I bought rum raisin because in every anime since the dawn of man, someone will get drunk off of rum raisin, and even though I know that can't happen, I'd like to believe in a world where that's possible.

Sadly, it was not to be. It was delicious though.

 

I don't think I've ever seen an anime where somebody gets drunk off rum raisin haha

 

Oh man, you haven't lived!

 

Frieren ended today for anybody who was waiting to binge it. A truly special show. And while not “officially” renewed the end title card makes it clear it will continue

 

Apothecary Diaries renewed for season 2. My second favorite show of the year, behind only Frieren

 

Chained Soldier is also getting a Season 2.

The balance of the Force.

 

Oshi No Ko season 2 premieres this July (I don’t remember if the renewal was previously announced?)

 

Just got to Water 7 in One Piece

 

It’s on a lot of peoples’ lists of top arcs.

 

A1 is cooking so damn hard with solo leveling

I don't know about best, but I really liked Summer Wars.

 

I love it so far. Are these 12 episodes cour one of the season or will the rest be season two?

 

Anything by Satoshi Kon for sure.

 

Haha I was just looking him up. There’s some on Tubi and one of Peacock. I want to watch Perfect Blue the most, but I’ll have to rent that one. Thanks.

 

Perfect Blue is my favorite of his, enough that I have a tattoo of it right next to a Ghost in the Shell one lol.

Liz and the Blue Bird (it’s a spin off the Sound Euphonium series but it’s stand alone and very beautiful)

latest solo leveling fight was bananas

the story is just a guy playing a video game that makes him hot and cool and smart irl but as long these fights kick ass who cares
