I’ve become pretty basic when it comes to anime, and I’m just now catching up on a few of the big ones after falling off for a couple years. Finished AoT. Great show. Watched Chainsaw Man. Hornier than I was expecting but entertaining. Just started Demon Slayer and will probably do JJK after I finish that.
haha i also caught up on all four of those within the last few months after taking a break from anime for a few years
Started watching Girls Last Tour after seeing it pop up on a best of list and people singing its praises, it’s really good. Has the chill vibes of Yuru Camp but in a post apocalyptic adventure setting.
I've watched this, and while you're not wrong, expect those chill vibes not to last, or at the very least seem dissonant. It's great though.
not much a of a teaser, but they're making a movie based off a one volume manga the creator of Chainsaw Man made. "Synopsis: A heart-wrenching single-volume story about the struggles of being an artist, from the creator of Chainsaw Man. The overly confident Fujino and the shut-in Kyomoto couldn’t be more different, but a love of drawing manga brings these two small-town girls together. A poignant story of growing up and moving forward that only Tatsuki Fujimoto, the creator of Chainsaw Man, could have crafted." Studio: STUDIO DURIAN Kiyotaka Oshiyama as director, screenplay, and character designer
This is awesome. I actually just downloaded this one shot and they’re other one yesterday, so perfect timing. Even more excited to read it now.
Got like 8 eps left of S1 of Demon Slayer. I'm enjoying it. Randomly watched the first ep of Ninja Kamui last night. The action kicked ass so will definitely be watching this. Probably still gonna do JJK after Demon Slayer, but now I'm realizing I never watched all of One Punch Man or Mob Psycho. Only watched S1 for both.
solo leveling stuff the main character going to piss me off with how stupid he is sometimes especially after this last episode lol
I've put my anime viewing on hold even though I'm in the middle of like four different things because I'm currently not paying for crunchyroll So anyway, I've been meaning to check out Shin Godzilla but one of the only places it's streaming is *checks notes* crunchyroll...
Reminder that Wolftron CD is uploaded on Spotify under Daphne Loves Derby now as well as their unreleased third album
So glad I downloaded the Activate EP back in the day. That one isn't on anything that I've seen. 3rd unreleased album?! WUT
Just went to see the Demon Slayer "movie" that's in theaters, tho it's basically just a re-release of the last episode of the previous arc, plus the first episode of the upcoming arc. Not to say it was disappointing, since I knew exactly what I was signing up for. Regarding the actually new material, not much action going on, a lot more setting up for things to come. A lot of light hearted scenes interspersed as it moved things in to place. Had a good time and rekindled my excitement for the series. Once I finally got into it last year I kicked myself for not doing so sooner, seeing the Mugen Train arc in theaters would've been a blast.
I’ve started watching Gintama again after a couple of months off and still love it so much. I think it reminds me of the Yakuza series because it’s just so weird and that it basically does everything but move the main story forward haha. It’ll go from having a serious arc to some off the rails arc just an episode or two later, just like that game series does so well going from a main story to a sub story
