Finished Ouran high school host club, have a few episodes left of sakamoto desu ga? and, thanks to a friend, i recently started owari no seraph and mirai nikki. I can't believe this season is almost over. I'm watching Blue exorcist s2, eldlive, and twin star exorcists (i need to catch up on TSE quite a bit lol).
I watch Anime in phases, so it's been a while since I've picked up a series. Don't think I've watched anything since finishing Monster, Kabaneri, and Kiznaiver last summer. Been meaning to start Drifters. I watched Princess Mononoke last week, and it's still a goddamn masterpiece.
not sure how the anime is really but the acca manga is great if anyone is interested in checking out that series
Strongly considering. I already have it on DVD, but I love this damn series. http://www.rightstufanime.com/The-Big-O-blu-ray
Rightstuf has an amazing sale going on right now. Gatchaman complete collection, which is $85 on Amazon is down to $35. Specials and Promos: Weekend Sale It includes Penguin Drum, Ef, Fate/Stay Night, and a lot of other stuff at the lowest prices I've ever seen. I ordered the Persona sets, Devil Survivor and Gatchaman. The retail of all of those is like $400. lol. Came to around $90.
Just started watching Fate/Stay Night Unlimited Blade Works after remembering how much I enjoyed Fate/Zero but the main character is dense as hell yet people keep complimenting his intelligence for figuring out the simplest shit WHY
Eh read a lot about how much better this series was than the original but that doesn't really matter when so many of the main characters are so dislikeable and naive Fate/Zero was significantly faster paced and had better characterization/character development to boot
I love the character designs for Saber and Rin in whatever images I happened to come across, but I was never really interested in Fate past that. Same with Misaka and Magical Index. I guess by the time I heard of either franchise, my tastes changed past the point where I might look into them.
I will forever recommend fate/zero to peeps (that series includes saber btw) but wouldn't rec this part of the series
If I remember correctly, the first arc of the second season of Railgun stands alone and is better/more mature than the rest of the series. I wouldn't put it near "must watch" territory though.
reminder to myself to look into Wandering Son. Thanks, Thomas Sanders? edit: omg Wandering Son came out in 2011 what is it with anime and 2011 why does everything good/interesting seem to come from that year
Right. the new anime season starts. Few series I'm curious to check out, but excited for season 2 of the eccentric family.
First episode of My Hero Academia was great. Love that show. Looking forward to finally getting more AoT.
Just watched Attack On Titan episode 26. ...I think I'll binge the rest. It was good, of course, but I expect the slow pace will make the week-to-week wait frustrating. This isn't a high priority for me, since I've been focusing more on American television shows for the past couple years or so. That said, I am going to Anime Expo for the first time this year. Hm.
Glad to have Attack on Titan back. I like the setup for this season. Also, I just started Drifters and am enjoying it so far.
