He’s an idiot (his words) and could literally see no other way. He didn’t really have a choice in any of it. The path was shown to him and he had to follow it. I like how messy it was and how it ultimately none of it mattered. You can remove the titans but you can’t remove the violence from humanity. War, prejudice and genocide will always exist.
Honestly more than the show finishing I'm just glad more people are in on the "ten years at least" meme now
Yeah this is exactly what I don’t like: the fact that he was literally shown the future and therefore became bound by it. That whole idea should have been thrown out Eren doing it of his own volition — because *in the present moment* he felt there was no other way to protect his family — is way more compelling imo, and goes way more towards the theme of war seeming unavoidable. Like he’s a much more interesting character if, when his back is to the wall, that is the choice he makes despite knowing the ramifications
Coolest fight moment in the finale is a tie between Reiner drop-kicking a titan and half-dead Levi still being able to parry Jaw Titan claws lol
The new Digimon Adventure 02 movie was pretty good and surprisingly touched on some dark subject matters. Some of the dub recasting still sound off, especially Armadillomon’s new voice. But it was great to have both Davis and Veemon’s original voice actors back.
i'd always intended to watch post-timeskip AoT once ALL of it was out, I guess now would be the time to start?
Toilet-Bound Hanako-kun Anime Gets 2nd Season After some initial confusion, it looks like this is indeed a Season 2 after all and not a reboot.
Newest ep of JJK was amazing. Extended Toji/Fushiguro fight was so good -- having Toji fight of all the rabbits was one of the funniest additions they could have made, so inspired lol
I just don’t understand why it’s happening American language remakes of anime I understand financially. This is just weird
So from what I understand Netflix has like some sort of deal and a huge investment into live action adaptations for anime. I don't know why, but they do. Them making money off of an established franchise is much easier than making something original. I'm glad this is an all Japanese cast and crew and granted it's just a teaser, but it's completely missing any of the charm or light heartedness of the anime or manga. I just honestly think a majority of anime shouldn't be made live action. Also there's the remake anime of Yu Yu coming out so it's probably part of a big push.
Apparently some sites and Twitter people have "officially " stated it's being remade. Some people have debunked it and then others have said it's real. Idk, but it would make sense. I just hope not. Invest that money into adapting other manga that deserve their first anime or do ones for shows that should have been good based on the source material but were underfunded or had bad direction.
I guess I figured it would happen eventually, but I’ll pass. YYH has been my favorite anime since I was a kid and there’s no way they can top perfection
People are like "the art of the old anime looks so bad and outdated" and like...they just don't understand art clearly. The aesthetics of that show are so perfect it's crazy. Kuwabara not having his trademark hair in the live action is wild to me. I get not everything has to be a 1:1 but even so it's just so weird.
