I don't think it looks too much different from the first two seasons, but some shots look weird; the weird crooked school, hideous CG sausage, rins hair style.

They also announced music changes, the artist who did the first two OP's and the movie is now doing the ED, with some new person doing the OP. Changing that is...egregious.

I was gona start that after catching up with JJK I assumed it was done. Is that because of ongoing production issues? For fucks sake just let them finish a show before starting to air it

 

yeah I think it started with crunch for the animators and once they fell behind they couldn't catch back up. Kinda ironic since part of the whole premise of the show is how workers are constantly being exploited in a shit capitalist system. Once they fell behind enough I think they ended up losing their time slot and here we are. Idk why these shows aren't fully finished before airing but its completely bassackwards to me.

 

My wife and I started Fate/Stay Night Unlimited Blade Works and it is soooo much better than the 2006 series. I get that it’s a different “route”, but the animation is so much better. I’m curious to see the differences.

 

If anyone is interested I'm now on episode 110 of One Piece. 9% done. hahaha

Apparently Luffy is going to be a float in the Macy’s Day Parade. Pretty crazy how much of a renaissance One Piece has been having within the past ~2yrs. I think when Gear 5 was first revealed, it made a bunch of followers realize “oh we’re actually about to finally enter the endgame now” and word of that spread, causing tons of people to finally catch up/check it out, since it always seemed like this never ending monolith before

Holy smokes, I never saw this. My bad.

Honestly I'm loving it. I wish I would have watched it back in the day when it came out. Currently on episode 125, season 2 ends in the 140's.

At what I'm assuming is the end of this arc with Luffy and Crocodile. I love how fast paced it is. The humor is great. They FINALLY changed the intro at episode 116. The only gripe I have is that they made devil fruits out to be like this mysterious thing that not many people have... every single mother fucker has devil fruit powers. I just find that hilarious.

Usopp and Nami are my least favorite characters. Love Sanji, Zoro, Luffy and Chopper. But yeah, overall it's great.

You also really have to pay attention. I have to rewind so many times because I'll get a text or get distracted and am like wtf just happened.

 

I think with devil fruits, we're overexposed - they genuinely ARE very rare, the average citizen of a general populace who isn't engaging in piracy or being a marine is not at all likely to run into a devil fruit user in their lives - even pirates in each of the blues are genuinely quite surprised seeing a fruit user. It's just that the stronger or more important you are in One Piece world and the more you travel, the more likely it is that you're going to be finding fruit users, especially on the grand line where the strongest gather.
