The premise I've read on Anime News Network is interesting:

I love that it makes it sound like the whole "pig liver and Jess" thing is a known legend, like of course if this happens to you this is the result.

I also prefer the original title "Heat The Pig Liver", but I guess that would be too vague.

Yeah, one of the best episodes of the show.

 

I’m like 22 Episodes into JJK and I dig it but I just can’t stand the shonen “fight for a minute, spend 5 minutes recapping what just happened in that fight, another 5 minutes previewing what they’ll do next, oops secret technique we never knew about disrupts that” formula.

I did just finish the baseball episode and it indeed ruled and would’ve preferred more episodes of that than half the previous 5 episode fight

Just finished catching up on the last 70 chapters of JJK after falling off awhile ago. All I can say is goddamn

 

This weeks chapter was very insane honestly.

 

I've only started paying attention recently so I may be off base, but it seems like a majority of mangaka are borderline anonymous. is there a reason they almost never appear in person anywhere? It probably helps to avoid insane fans who get upset over pointless shit

 

Maybe because they’re so overworked.

 

JJK season 2 is such an immediate step up in animation quality and aesthetic. It feels handmade, the music choices are great, the action is concise. It’s almost frustrating how incredible MAPPA is when they’re not throwing hideous CGI all over the place

 

Idk who to be mad at about MAPPA only doing a 12 episode season for chainsaw man

Very dumb decision. Though even with a 26 episode order, it wouldn’t get truly insane until season 2.

I was watching some TikTok and this dude was talking about how Demon Slayer didn’t truly blow up until like episode 15+ so the fact chainsaw man did only 12 and didn’t meet expectation is mind blowing

it should really have been a full season

 

Highly recommend everyone check out this new manga, Kagurabachi. There’s only two chapters released so far but it’s really good. Just avoid looking it up on the internet because people are memeing it out to death as the greatest thing to ever happen for some reason

 

Haha I saw that too. It’s been given the Morbius treatment. I plan on reading it soon.
