I'd be worried about casting, making sure the voices are still lined up and as good as they were, but I read notes from the two original voice actors who are reprising their roles and it sounds like they were very excited and passionate about getting things right. Also, I liked the way the second season ended. I don't particularly have the need for more because depending on where this ends they would need to do ANOTHER season and if it doesn't do well, we might not get a fourth or if we do would we have to wait another 12 years? Granted, Japanese and Korean romance shows have been doing well lately and Netflix did a live action adaptation of this show/manga. It might be great, who knows.
I'm of the opinion that if something new turns out bad, it doesn't take away from what came before, so I welcome any and all attempts to bring more into the world.
Idk why people were so butt hurt over Netflix Cowboy Bebop and Resident Evil, they were perfectly fine as their own things that don't take away from the original
My problem with Bebop is I actually do think it could translate to live action, but the writers seemed to actively hate the source material. The shit they did with Vicious and Julia was baffling.
I've heard the new One Piece show is actually good, but I haven't seen it and I also don't know anything about One Piece so I have no opinion or basis for one.
I’m all caught up in the manga and it’s my favorite series. I watched the live action show with my wife and we both enjoyed it.
8 episodes, but yeah 60 anime episodes. They cover the meat and potatoes of the story. The anime is weird with its pacing, so this abridged version actually works.
Watched all of Chainsaw Man over the weekend and finally decided to start One Piece (Anime). Plan on watching until I’m caught up to the live action, then watching that and continue with the anime as well. Currently watching Luffy fight Kuro.. kinda hooked already. Still weird hearing all the DBZ voice actors tho haha
As I sit here watching One Piece, and Zeff walks out and says to Sanji, “take care of yourself, Sanji” as he’s leaving with Luffy, I audibly say, god damn it.. Because this show has its hooks in me. Edit: Yas describing Arlong and it cutting to Luffy asking if his shitty drawing looks more like him this time. Lmao
