Cant wait to start JJK s2 tonight, very glad to see its a 2 cour season once again

 

It’s up now and I watched it already. It’s so good.

 

It’s gonna be a somewhat awkward split bc one arc is like 15 chapters, so probably 7 or so eps. While the second, much crazier arc is like 60 chapters lol

 

I was thinking that too. Maybe they’ll condense that second arc. It’ll be bad if they do that though.

 

If what I saw today was true, the Gojo Past Arc will be 5 episodes and the Shibuya Arc will be 18 episodes

 

I’m assuming they’re just going to say fuck it and pick some point in the Shibuya arc to cut it at. Or have one cour simply be way longer than the other

First ep of JJK was a nice set up for the new/younger characters though I'm bit bummed we wont see Yuuji and the gang for a while.
They kinda just teased us with it but Geto's spirit summons were so fucking cool looking here, that first big one reminded me a bit of the snake devil in CSM. And the lil sting ray he was flying on was adorable

 

they were talking about the lengths of the arcs, I’m talking about how they are dividing up the cours

So I guess episode one of Ruroni Kenshin is out now. It’ll feel weird watching it after what came out about the writer.

Looking back, Ruroni Kenshin is the first manga I ever read, sixth grade 2006

 

First episode was decent. Interesting seeing the slight differences between the original and this retelling.

 

Dope, DBZ Kai is on Hulu now.

Rewatching the original DBZ recently, I never realized how much BS filler there was. It was a chore and I gave up after the Frieza saga haha.

 

Episode one of this is up now. I guess it’ll be a weekly Netflix anime, like how Vinland Saga and Komi were. It looks good. I know the manga is popular.

 

sometimes it bothers me that mappa keeps taking on projects despite already having their plate full with series that should be getting adapted at a quicker pace than they already are. but then i see something like the new jujutsu episode and am just floored by the work theyre doing. so many cool animation moments that wouldnt have come from just any other studio. this season is gonna be a hell of a ride. geto is one of my favorite characters in the series and this arc is big reason why, and for those who havent read the shibuya arc, youre gonna be blown away.
