I'm two episodes away from finishing Baccano. I finished the main anime, now I'm on the OVAs. Really great series, love how everything came together. After this, I think I'll finally turn my attention to To Your Eternity, since Season 2 seems to be over.
Gurren Lagann Hunter X Hunter Neon Genesis Evangelion Perfect Blue Death Note Madoka Magica Princess Mononoke Anohana
I haven't watched a ton but this would probably be my 8 after a quick look at my MAL list. I still have a massive watchlist of like 170 titles including a lot of the big shows like FMA, Deathnote, Hunter x Hunter. My first runthrough of Bleach and a proper watch of DBZ have been taking up a huge chunk of my anime time the past few months: Bleach Dorohedoro Princess Mononoke Mob Psycho 100 Gurren Lagann Hellsing Ultimate Jujutsu Kaisen DBZ
The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, Really Love You Manga Gets TV Anime I've seen this manga come up a lot and apparently it's a really good take on the harem genre from my understanding, so an anime adaptation seems like a big deal.
Yeah I've read it and it's pretty okay. It's doesn't really do anything that hasn't been done before, but the characters are all endearing and the comedy tends to be pretty good! I'm interested in how the anime will adapt it.
There's a couple of other shows in that genre recently that haven't been that bad if you're all interested in some like Girlfriend Girlfriend and Oresuki (which is mostly good just because of one very good joke that's repeated throughout the show)
Hahah that's exactly what I'm talking about. I also like how the manga just has a straight, no nonsense satisfying ending.
been watching Death Note for the first time as I try and get through some of the classics for about 15 episodes this was one of the best shows I've ever seen and since then it's alternated between baffling, boring, absolutely dumb as hell and a couple of moments that reminded me how well it started is it like part of The Lore that this show goes tumbling off a cliff cos jeez
I was introduced to Death Note by a co-worker at a previous job of mine, way before I really threw myself headlong into the world of anime, and he presented it like it was the best thing ever, and while I won't say I didn't appreciate it, saying I enjoyed it seems like too strong of words to use for something that is incredibly bleak with literally no likeable characters.
I read Death Note as it was coming out in middle school. I remember buying the volumes from FYE and Borders. I’m biased, but I liked the twists and turns.
I absolutely adored L. since he died I'm having a tough time finding reasons to watch the show. there's definitely no likable characters left now lol also it is bleak as hell but the early episodes felt more like a black comedy with a wicked sense of humour. now its like a... boring police procedural or something
