Not sure if I posted this but I watched My Stepmom's Daughter Is My Ex last year and it was a good watch. I'm pretty sure season 2 will get the green light this year.
Does anyone have any recommendations like Rent-A-Girlfriend, Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai, Toradora! and My Stepmom's Daughter Is My Ex?
Golden Time, Kokoro Connect, Pet Girl of Sakurasou and Tonikaku Kawaii are all very solid romcoms. Fruits basket (the new one) if you want romance with a lot of sadness. A Lull In The Sea isn’t strictly a romcom but has romance and the second half of the season is top 5 anime for me
I would just like to note that Pet Girl is very divisive. A lot of people love and a lot of people hate it. I remember watching the whole thing and it really upset me. The melodramatic nature of it gets to a lot of people. It is written by the same person who did Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai which is shocking to me. The ending song of season 2 is perfection.
it's been a long time since I've seen it but I remember it being mostly silly fun. and yeah, great OP's and ED's
It's hard because romcoms can be pretty different. Some lean more into the comedy and others are more romance/drama etc. What do you like most about those shows? I'm going to give a bit of a diverse selection. I think I would also back up @JamesMichael suggestion of Golden Time. Love, Chunibyo, & Other Delusions (all one title) is pretty decent and Horimiya is pretty good as well. Monthly Girls' Nozaki Kun is up there. There's some I want to suggest, but they either didn't stick the landing or didn't finish like Nisekoi. Do they have to be in younger characters? There are some good workplace romances now like Wotakoi: Love Is Hard for Otaku and The Ice Guy and His Cool Female Colleague (which is airing right now!).
This isn't strictly a romance series so much as a slice-of-life with romantic bits, but one series I really enjoyed that I don't see get mentioned is Working!, also known as Wagnaria!. Three seasons and a single season spin-off.
Also if you want a straight up comedy first romance show in high school I think you should watch Tsuredure Children. Each episode is less than 15 minutes each and it's just little snapshots into different couples at completely different stages in their relationships. It's very funny and has some cute moments as well. It has one of my favorite jokes in any romcoms purely for the sass and realism. P.S. Crunchyroll says "S2 Ep1" but there's only one season they just labeled it weird so don't worry you're watching the right thing.
One of them is this: Another is Harem in the Labyrinth of Another World. I legitimately had to drop it because it was so bad and made me incredibly uncomfortable. I will not post a video. There are a couple others that aren't terrible, they just don't really land with me. Tomo-chan Is A Girl. There are good parts of it, but something just feels off. I do like two of the side characters though they are funny.
Otaku Elf Anime's 2nd Promo Video Reveals April 7 Debut, More Cast, Theme Song Artists I was introduced to this manga through a comics website and I am ten kinds of down for this anime. Elf from another world takes up residence in a shrine and becomes an otaku addicted to video games; hijinks ensue.
lol Attack On Titan: The Final Season: Part 3: Part 2: Part 57: Part 9. A five minute commercial for the next part. TUNE IN!
Finally started Baccano! tonight, and after two episodes I have absolutely no idea what the fuck is happening or what this is about. I'm into it though.
I've been pretty down on the last two seasons of MHA, but I agree that this episode is one of the strongest we've had in a long time. I like the different tone, the quick turn around of events, the new characters and character dynamics.
