I don't know why but I'm fascinated with bad/average/lesser known shows that have banger openings. This is To Love Ru: (I'm not sharing the official opening because it's hella creepy fan service.) This one is Nanbaka which isn't too bad actually, I think they just didn't continue it which was a bummer. (The audio is a little flat in this video for some reason, but the full song with good quality audio is awesome) Lastly, this show actually has some pretty funny moments: A Destructive God Sits Next To Me. This song is just crazy groovy and the chorus is so danceable.
It's incredibly hard to pick a favorite OP, but two of my favorites are Gabriel Dropout for the chaos of it all and Bunny Girl Senpai, mostly because the Peggies are a legit good band. and furthermore, it drives me insane that people put anime clips at 60fps on youtube. It's not animated at the frame rate, it looks like shit. Stop doing it
I have three that are my actual favorite intros I honestly don't think anything could ever top that Kimi Ni Todoke opening for me. It's so good.
I almost posted Gabriel Dropout, but it just didn't make the cut. That and the ending of Witch Craft Works
I don't know if we're just commenting on songs or openings as a whole, but assuming it's the former... First Redo from ReZero... From Yu-No... From Problem Children Are Coming From Another World, Aren't They?...
I’m about halfway through Dressrosa and it’s so good… One Piece is up there with Star Trek for my favorite long-running series.
Just saw the first episode of this, it's fine, but this ending really got me because I love the opening of it.
This came up on my spotify today and I forgot to mention it earlier, another all time great OP from Penguindrum
I’ve just finished season 2 of Rent-A-Girlfriend and now I’m distraught that it’s over. I did see season 3 is coming out around June so guess I’ll just have to wait a few months…
been watching Space Dandy. this show is uhh something else lmao, I love it though. guess I'm just watching through Watanabe's ouevre now
