Decided to board the hype train to prep for a convention this weekend - watching Re:Zero and enjoying it quite a bit.
I should wrap up Amanchu in the next few days. It's not quite the adaptation I was hoping for, but I'm still enjoying it a lot. I'm too fond of the source material not to! I'm going to try Flag and Eureka Seven next.
not really a big surprise but a 2nd season for one punch man has been announced. anybody here been watching twin star exorcists, i avoided it when it came out but ive been hearing that its gotten good.
finished the second batch of digimon tri episodes and thought they were much better than the first (which i also like a lot). there was definitely a lack of fight scenes but the character struggles felt quite real, particularly joe's story was great.
As someone who hasn't watched Dragon Ball Z in years, would it be safe to watch Super almost as a standalone? I barely remember the ending of the Buu Saga (and I recently tried to rewatch it to catch up, but that's quite a lot of time), but I'd really like to watch Super.
You'd be fine. It starts with a retelling of the last two films, and that is literally the only thing you need going in.
March Comes Like a Lion and Girlish Number is all I'm currently following. Will get around to checking out the other shows eventually.
ive only seen occultic nine which isnt great but i cant help but think its headed somewhere interesting. mostly been trying to get through rezero which has been incredible but at my pace im only on episode 12 im really interested in march comes in like a lion and zaregoto (ova adaptation of a nisio isin light novel) but the latter isnt out yet
At Bakuretsu Con this weekend - huuuuuuuuuuge amount of work to get through. Master of Ceremonies, Cosplay staff, Theme staff - no sleep till Monday morning.
I just re-watched Madoka Part 3: Rebellion. That ending. Madness. It makes some sense to me though, so I'm okay with it. I need to revisit the series.
Should I watch the Madoka movies? I saw the whole Madoka Magica series and absolutely loved it but I never got around to checking out any of the movies
Even though 1 and 2 are basically retellings, they have enough cool new animation to warrant a viewing. The third one is an entirely new story, though, and it is absolutely incredible. So yes, go watch them.
Has Drifters been any good? I loved the manga when it first came out, but dropped it due to delays. I'd be interested if it followed somewhat close.
Thanks for reminding me about the Right Stuf Christmas sale! Not sure if I'll buy anything, but it's always fun to browse, haha. I just watched the first episode of Yuri on Ice and loved it.
I ordered season two of sailor moon. came to about half the price if been seeing both sets for which was nice.
