Chainsaw man Ep 1 was fantastic. Was a bit off about the CGI at points but it's fine for the moment.

Never in all my days did I think I'd see a big lebowski reference in an anime opening but here we are

i think the ed and the general ost fits the vibe of the series more than seize the day does. like don't get me wrong, i adore yuru camp, just a stray observation i had while watching it the other night.

 

Oh wow, I didn't know Chainsaw Man was dropping on Hulu. Will definitely start that as soon as I catch up on AoT, of which I'm still in the middle of S3.

good first episode but I wish they didn't use cgi for him. honestly hate cgi characters in anime, it's always going to look worse no matter how well it's done. it's just distracting.

 

yeah if i had one complain its the cgi, it looks fine most of the time and hes not full cgi but it does look clunky at moments, theyre brief but it does take me out of it a bit. other than that really well done episode. opening is really cool, love the morning musume "sample" at the end.

also dont know how true this is but some insider said the next episode will covef chapters 2-5 which is a lot of content.

 

the CGI in Attack on Titan looks like shit too. MAPPA's traditional animation is so great so it really stands out

 

My wife and I started Fate/Zero last night and we’re obsessed now. I’m excited to watch all the Fate series/films in the franchise.
The opening is one of my favorites already.

 

I need to watch more Fate. All I've seen is Apocrypha and the first two Heaven's Feel movies, lol. But I really have enjoyed the series, so I should probably watch the actual main titles soon.

In case anyone doubted how big CSM is, just seen this at one of my train stations on the way to work. This is definitely the first time I’ve seen an anime being advertised at a train station
