Personally, for me, better. I really like Arcane, but it didn’t get me in the feels the ways certain anime can. Like this one.
Radwimps is back for the latest Makoto Shinkai film. Now…time to anxiously wait and try to score a vinyl before it sells out and goes for $400 resale like the other two soundtracks.
I have my notifications set on CDJapan (where the first pressings are generally sold) so I’ll keep this thread updated. I’m in Taiwan so it may be while I’m awake and you guys are asleep, though.
I’m two episodes into Cyberpunk and enjoying it so far. Rosa Walton (of Let’s Eat Grandma) has a song in it and the whole scene was fantastic.
was gonna post this last week but forgot. ufotable (demon slayer and the good fate anime) is doing a genshin impact anime. i dont love the story but genshin does have a lot of cool characters and setpieces that could be awesome if animated to the standard ufotable usually has.
this cyberpunk anime does indeed rule and I love that studio trigger signature style is just so extravagant
Arcane, Tekken, Cyberpunk, Castlevania… Just let Netflix make all the video games into anime. They’re 4/4 so far.
Rascal Does Not Dream Gets Sequel Anime Adapting 8th, 9th Novels And in new season announcements that make me gasp out loud from ecstatic surprise... Rascal does not dream of getting a second season, but he's getting one, and I am all about it.
Episode 3 of the show is one of my favorite sequence-of-events of anything ever. Just everything, from Sakuta promising Mai that he'll remember her, to him falling asleep and forgetting her anyway (and Mai letting him do it!), to him suddenly remembering her during his exam, his epiphany right afterward about how her syndrome works, and then only the greatest love confession scene ever made. He fucking willed her back into existence with his confession. That's love right there. And then this gem of dialogue right after. Sakuta: I won't let you go until you forgive me then. Mai: Then I won't forgive you for the rest of my life. AND WE GET MORE OF THESE TWO! GOD DOES EXIST!
Curious if that's another full season, or a movie. The first season covered 5 volumes, the movie covered 2 volumes. This is adapting another 2 volumes, so I'm guessing a movie?
It's hard to tell. Some articles are talking about it like Season 2, but even this article I posted above is vague about it. I'd like to believe if it was a movie, then the article would be definite about it, but I also agree that even if it was only a 10 episode season, stretching two books across that would be a tall order, unless they added original material or blended material from other books. I just want as much of them as possible.
Everything I’ve seen of the new Bleach arc coming up looks so cool, but I don’t want to watch 100’s of episodes (that I hear have a ton of filler).
The new arc is by far the longest in the manga, but I wouldn’t consider it to have filler, and don’t know why they would create filler when there’s so much canon material to cover. The whole point of filler was to give time for the main arcs to finish
Oh well then yes, there is lots of filler and in annoying random mid-arc spots. But you can also just look up what the filler is and skip it like I did lol
I convinced my wife to rewatch Mob Psycho 100 with me. Two episodes in and she’s hooked. I watched it when it was first on and need a refresher before season three.
