info on jujutsu kaisen s2 is coming on september 18th. season 1 was very good but what comes next is exponentially better. its gonna blow peoples minds.
unfortunately i wouldnt expect it anytime before summer.

 

Watched episode 4 of The Fruit Of Grisaia and thinking about how when I watch anime, I always seem to end the night with a tearjerker episode.

 

This week's Chainsaw Man solidifies it as the best manga. lol

 

So Funimation is raising their prices effective today, despite it being a service that's shutting down? It makes no sense.

I only subbed because they're taking so long to get all their stuff on Crunchyroll and they have a bunch of shows I wanted to check out

 

The prologue episode to the new Gundam series is up on the official Gundam YouTube page. It exceeded my expectations. I’m so excited for the series to start.

 

Just watched Diary of Our Days At The Breakwater, fun show if you're looking for something wholesome and relaxing like Yuru Camp or Non Non Biyori

 

I finished Fruit of Grisaia and Labyrinth of Grisaia, and now on to Eden of Grisaia.

This show (based off of visual novels) is a trauma conga line for everyone involved. Like, first we learn the backstories of each of the five girls in the show, and it's all horrible stuff, and then in Labyrinth we learn the backstory of the protagonist, and it's arguably worse.

I enjoy the interactions between the cast members, but goddamn, turn on the lights, because it is dark.

 

Because I'm almost done with the Grisaia series, I'm going to do something I haven't done for a while now, and SPIN! THAT! WHEEL!

And the winners are Fena: Pirate Princess, Boogiepop And Others, Future Diary, and Guilty Crown. Future Diary especially is one that's been on my to-do list for quite a while, so I'm interested to finally clear it from my plate.

 

Future Diary is good but I dislike how much it popularized the whole yandere character archetype. Not helped by teenaged boys being like "I wish I had a girlfriend like Yuno"

My brother in christ, you'd be running for the fucking hills if you got involved with someone like that in reality

 

Pirate Princess was good!

 

Lycoris Recoil is getting gnarly. Really wish I was able to put it off and binge it all at once, the week to week is killing me.

Watching Death Parade right now and really enjoying it, the dub is great too

 

I really enjoyed Death Parade. It's not a super happy fun time, for sure, but despite how dark it gets, I think there's some heartwarmingness to be taken from it as well.

 

been really liking lycoris recoil, its wild how much it looks and feels like the kyo ani shows of the early 2010s

 

It's a great looking show, really impressive how they combine the goofy SoL/workplace stuff with the more serious action and crime stuff. The reveal of the villains plan from last weeks episode was pretty fucking dark

 

I’ve been really enjoying Classroom of the Elite.
