I didn’t realize there were new episodes of Komi Can’t Communicate on Netflix. Looks like it’s still technically first season, guessing it’ll be another 13 eps for a 26 episode season
Everywhere I've seen has referred to it as Season 2, but frankly, between the AOT debacle and everything else, I no longer understand how the anime cour-season system works, if indeed I ever did.
To me, it depends on the show and if it’s a direct continuation. If the latest AoT was labeled Season 5 instead of The Final Season part 2, that wouldn’t make sense, since it’s part of the larger arc. With Komi…I can see it being a season 2. The episodes are self-contained.
I wish I liked Komi. I like her and the main character, but the rest of the cast and the plots are so annoying.
I get that, but that’s also part of the gimmick. She has to make 100 friends with kids from a school of weirdos.
yamai in komi is pretty awful and himiko is also kind of annoying but honestly the side characters are the best part of the series, najimi, katai, nakanaka, ase, tadano's sister, komi's family are all really geat characters. and theres a ton of other interesting ones.
I’ve been watching all the studio ghibli movies and they really have the best voice actors they could get and they all rule
Watch the English dub of Howl’s Moving Castle to hear an early version of Christian Bale’s Batman voice
Fire Force and The Duke Of Death And His Maid both announced new seasons. I haven't watched either but they're both on my list.
Fire Force isn't great, but it's a lot of fun. It's always cool seeing the new kind of fire powers they're gonna show off and all the bizarre characters. I would probably put it around a 7.5 maybe an 8. It's just a good ride. It definitely seems like a show that could get better as time goes on and they start exploring all the things they've been building up to.
WIT’s Vampire in the Garden is on Netflix now and I guess it’s only five episodes. Nonetheless, I’m excited to check it out after I catch up with Barry.
The end of the manga is fucking bonkers, though I’m sure it’s probably pretty divisive. It gets extremely meta. I have no idea how they’re going to depict some of it lol
