The Crunchyroll app finally has the simulcast section updated with spring 2022 anime. This sounds really interesting.

 

I've seen the first season. It's hilarious. They're all fucking morons and it's great. Really excited for the second.

 

Started Akebis Sailor Uniform, has the best animation and artwork I’ve seen in a series in a long time. The backgrounds especially are insanely detailed.

 

I’m a few episodes into Vinland Saga. I can’t get over how good then OP is.

 

The second OP is even better IMO.

 

I guess there are people upset by the fact that this was advertised as the final season but has three parts?

I don't understand people 99% of the time.

It's kind of bullshit to advertise THE FINAL SEASON, then on each finale be like "YEAH STILL NOT DONE GOTTA WAIT ANOTHER YEAR".

It's disingenuous to call three separate cours over three years ONE season.

 

Yeah, I don’t like the way it’s been advertised. One big bait-and-switch. But…I’m not going to argue against more episodes.

 

But isn't that how cours work? I mean, there are lots of anime that I've watched that have multiple seasons and have seasons with multiple cours, and nothing changes about what's considered Season 1, 2, 3, etc.

I mean, I don't see how it makes any difference in the end. What would change?

 

Aren’t seasons with cours announced ahead of time instead of right before the last episode?

 

I just don't like the hyping up of "THIS IS THE FINAL SEASON" and not being open about their plans to deliver that season over 3 years. Especially when they're making these announcements on each cours finale.

people on the internet saying that at the point they stopped there’s only 8 chapters left so they just going to do a 10 episode finale then and add some stuff of their own I assume?

 

I'll agree it does seem disingenuous to put this whole three year run of episodes under the same umbrella, and I'm not sure if there are thematic reasons for that or production reasons or what their reasoning is for having the whole run be "The Final Season".

But it strikes me that the episodes will be ran anyway regardless of what they're called and it strikes me that people will watch them anyway regardless of what they're called, so that's why it just seems really weird to me that people would be so upset about this.

Ultimately it looks to me like people are going to be able to see a complete adaptation. That's nice. That doesn't happen often.

 

One of the best intro songs ever. And the tournament arc (basically season 2) rules. The animation for the biggest moments is already very cool, but I would like a modern adaptation just because so many of the fights would look amazing if they were more detailed

 

I started to watch yyh on Crunchyroll and I noticed there’s a slight lag between speaking and words on the sub and it’s annoying me.

i checked Hulu to see if it is just a recurring problem and nope it’s only on Crunchyroll and now I’m annoyed

 

i wanted to see if maybe it just the fact that I was using my Roku tv so maybe it could be different on my Xbox.

i go on my Xbox Crunchyroll app and it says yu yu hakusho doesn’t even exist on there. Crunchyroll is weird guess I’ll just use Hulu.

 

Between My Dress Up Darling and Akebi's Sailor Uniform, Cloverworks are absolutely knocking it out of the park with their animation this season but somebody over there has a major foot fetish and it's getting uncomfortable.

 

I have eight episodes left of Nichijou and I've really been enjoying it.

I've had a similar experience to when I watched Azumanga Daioh and Lucky Star, where at first I was both bored and weirded out in equal measure, but as I persevered and got into the rhythm of things, I grew to enjoy it more and more. Plus, I think the show just gets better after the first few episodes. This applies to all three shows, BTW.

Anyway, when the Professor's not being a little brat, she and Nano are super heartwarming together. The big game-changer scene in Episode 13 ( The Professor allowing Nano to go to school and making her a uniform) was ten kinds of adorable, and I love what happens in Episode 16 when Yuuko visits the lab.

When I'm done I'll probably knock Summer Wars out since that's a movie, and then move on to Mob.

 

Isn't all of post time jump aot one "season" tho? In three parts but still

 

The blu-rays of this are great. Some awesome visual improvements and it just feels great to have the nice steal books.

If you haven't seen it before, you're in for a wild ride.
