I love both but yeah I probably like him more too honestly. I think the movie does a good job at elevating the material in the manga, its probably my favourite JJK work so far.
I will not accept FLCL slander. It rules. And it came at the right time (for me) when all the accessible anime were long, drawn out shonen shows and then you suddenly get a tight 6 episode coming of age story that also has robots and dope music.
started re-watching JJK just because of seeing the movie and they really did kill it on everything. The music choices is still top notch.
My Dress Up Darling is a lot of fun. I was planning on watching just a couple episodes a night and ended up watching the first 8 in one sitting. Season finale next weekend.
I was reading the internet today and apparently there’s 1 episode left of attack on titan final season but they still got like 8-10 chapters left to do so now everyone confused what’s happening.
I was intrigued by this, so I decided to search around, and there's an episode airing tomorrow and then one more on April 4th, so is this "1 episode left" not including tomorrow's episode or what's the deal there? EDIT: Okay, never mind, I figured it out. I've never had to think about what day it is in another country before, so it never occurred to me that it's actually Monday in Japan right now. Wild.
yeah this was the second to last episode today and then they said the next episode comes in two weeks and that’s it for the season so people are either expecting an announcement of a movie or something.
Yeah, they're going to be ending it in a weird place where there's probably not enough content for a part 3, but too much content for a movie.
I didn’t know that, very bizarre choice. They’re so close to finishing it, like probably 5 episodes worth of material left, and next ep will likely be one of the most upsetting things to watch in the entire show lol
Eh there’s definitely more than 5 episodes worth. I think even doing like a 2 and a half hour movie might feel rushed. but yeah I’m gona be upset next week
It'd be wild if they got this close to adapting the entire story and then just decided to stop and tell viewers to buy the manga.
Also there’s no episode next week? Just a random break before a single episode non-finale? Really weird choice
https://www.themarysue.com/will-there-be-an-attack-on-titan-movie/ “…episode 87’s airdate was pushed back to April 3 due to a “special program.” Even more bewilderingly, Attack on Titan now has a panel scheduled at AnimeJapan, Japan’s biggest anime convention, on — you guessed it, March 27. Many are assuming the movie will be announced at this panel. If so, would the April 3 episode would be that movie, or simply lead up to it? At least the panel will tell us definitively whether the series will end in a film or not.”
ending a show with a film is fucking dumb. says the guy whose favourite anime film is End of Evangelion.
That seems to be a trend now, and I get it. Get people hooked on a show for a few seasons, make a shit ton of money off the movie they’ll have to see. there’s no way the next episode is a movie length one though, they wouldn’t release that for free.
