Finally finished Monster. Gonna try to keep up with Kabaneri and finish Kiznaiver (just watched the first ep) while working my way through Mushi-shi. Hopefully I'll get around to Berserk later this year.

 

I really need to get deeper into Monster. I'm only like 5 episodes in.

 

Just watched the first two episodes of Space Patrol Luluco and I'm in love with that too. Trigger's the best.

 

Also just seen they're making a full series for Little Witch Academia so I'm hyped for that.

 

for anyone i'd rec FMA Brotherhood (that's 64 eps tho) and Attack on Titan.

 

I'd back both of these.

 

I keep telling myself I'm going to watch FMA Brotherhood but I started another re-watch of Gurren Lagann(thanks D VA) and I love it so much. This show is just so great.

 

If there's one thing that justifies putting off FMA Brotherhood it's rewatching Gurren Lagann.

 

Puella Magi Madoka Magica is really great if you're trying to watch something super short (12 episodes) and dark

 

I cracked that out in one sitting and it was magical.

 

Hiatus X Hiatus

Fucking end me. It was just starting to pick up again.

it really seemed like he had a groove going. ive been through like 5 hiatuses and i still get comfortable when new chapters are out and blindsided when it goes back on hiatus.

also apparently the countdown to bleach's end has started.

 

2011-2012 must have been a hell of a time to be alive and be a HxH fan. He went 2/3 of a year without missing an issue.

I wonder how long he can keep this garbage up until people just can't take it anymore.

 

Well seeing as the guy has major health issues, I could unfortunately seeing him die before he finishes the HxH manga.

 

I'm trying to make a habit of only reading manga that are completed or will be by the time I get to the end. I haven't started Dead Dead Demons for that reason.

Punpun volume 2 will be arriving in my mailbox soon!

Wow. I hope his work is not contributing to his poor health.

 

"Major Health issues" is pretty ambiguous. I've heard that it's back pain, which if he actually decided to hire some assistants, then it would alleviate the strain he places on himself.

 

Food Wars is back and just as wonderful as ever.

 

Also like 7 episodes into Re:Zero and loving it.

 

Character Designer Yoshiyuki Sadamoto, Rock Band The Pillows to Return for FLCL Sequel Series

Now I'm cautiously excited.

 

Just watched the first episodes for Orange and Sweetness and Lightning. Liked both a lot, especially S&L.

 

I've been reading Sweetness and Lightning and I absolutely love it. I'm excited to watch the anime adaption.

 

I haven't read the manga but it was such a delight to watch I might start after the show, haha.

 

my shows for this season are ReLIFE, Rewrite and Orange, which i actually think i'll wait until it's finished before watching for once.

ReLIFE is great. likeable characters, great dialogue, and i'm a sucker for time travel-related concepts (Steins' Gate, ERASED, and the Suzumiya Haruhi movie are all among my favorite anime). the whole thing is out there already.

Rewrite is the newest project from my lords and saviours @ Key and i enjoyed the first (double) episode immensely, but those who had played the visual novel hated it, especially the character design. only one-cour (13 episodes) has been announced so far and it seems they'll cover only one route. hope it gets more cours like Durarara did - it's Key's longest VN after all.

i'm also following DBS, and the Future Trunks arc got me bursting with hype. they should learn how to animate again, though, cause it's still baaaad.
