For the rebuild movies? That’s it’s own retelling of the original series. You don’t need to see the show to start it
original 26 episodes - End of Evangelion (an alternate version of the final 2 episodes since the original series ran out of money, it’s a masterpiece) - Rebuild movies. some say you could skip episodes 25/26 because their a bit rough, but I think it’s worth watching. And you can skip Death and Rebirth, they’re just recaps.
I’ve been saying that it feels like Netflix anime are very low quality and I’m glad this kinda backs it up somewhat.
watched Your Lie In April this weekend and kind of wish I didn't...I am DEPRESSED also, I find it weirdly unsettling when anime characters have fully drawn lips. I got used to it pretty quickly for this but it's always off putting.
Never had much interest in the “magical girl” genre of anime but Madoka Magica is pretty wild. Super dark, love the weird collage art style of the enemies. Made me real sad I’ve found that most anime kind of just bums me out.
Try That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime. I don’t really like isakeis, but this is really wholesome. I’m binging it and on episode 11.
that’s a genre I haven’t dipped into yet, but I’ll have to give it a shot. That title has had me intrigued for a while haha
Happy Beastars season 2 on Netflix day! Been waiting months to be able to shill it again, and that day has arrived. Highly highly suggest checking it out, better than season 1 even
I really hated Psycho Pass 2 so much I gave up on the franchise years ago. Decided to try the movie, the sinners of the system ova and Psycho Pass 3 and I love it again. I think the writing gets better than season 1 in some ways even.
