You're in the UK, right? Is the finale gonna be playing in theaters near you? My friends and I are gonna go opening night
I watched this show out of curiosity (and partly because my son wanted to watch it so I had to see if it was fine for a 6 year old) and I became hooked so fast. Saw the finale in theaters yesterday and really liked how they wrapped it all up.
I liked most of the finale. I didn't like 1) that it spent so much time focusing on Jax, taking time away from everyone else, and 2) that Caine got a redemption arc. Sure it's fun to see their real life counterparts but if sacrificing it meant that Caine stayed dead I could've lived without it.
I'm trying to help my son find his next show to watch and I figured y'all are experts here. He's 11. His favorite show ever is Gravity Falls. He recently burned through the Owl House and Kipo pretty quickly. He didn't care for Amphibia. Any ideas on what he should try next?
I loved Amphibia Hmm has he watched oddballs on Netflix? It’s a fun one, I think it’s 2 or 3 seasons long. Another fun one I recently finished was tales of the teenage mutant ninja turtles on paramount plus, season 2 of that one was great!!
Ooh ooh, I’m excited by this question lol. I just went through a bunch of shows last year with my kids too. Has he seen: Avatar: The Last Airbender Avatar: The Legend of Korra The Dragon Prince Voltron: Legendary Defender She-Ra: Princesses of Power Duck Tales (the reboot’s honestly pretty cool) Star vs. The Forces of Evil Kid Cosmic (little known Netflix series that I was really impressed by) Jentry Chau vs. The Underworld Steven Universe Adventure Time There’s a new show that just came out on Disney+ today that I want to check out called Dragon Striker that looks pretty cool. There is also a new series coming out on June 26th called The Doomies that’s supposed to be so good that Disney already ordered a second season. Looking forward to that one as well. There are some other shows I could recommend but a lot of them unfortunately all got cancelled so they all just kind of stop and leave off on cliffhangers.
i posted a list at the start of the thread, some of these are more adult oriented but i'm sure the rest of it could be useful, and tbh aside from maybe Dragon Prince i don't think i'd add anything i'd seen in the past four years since i posted this Hazbin Hotel/Helluvaboss and Vox Machina/Mighty Nein are good but those are very much for adults haha oh i also watched Castlevania, only the first series tho, and, again, very much for adults
i was tryin to remember this one! my best friend and i would watch it along with his daughter she loved it, she also loves the beavis & butthead reboot, she likes the slapstick of it and when they make fun of tiktok/youtubers LOL
