I watched all of Dream Productions on Disney+ yesterday and really liked it. Is Monsters At Work any good?
It was alright , I couldn’t really get into any of the new characters. So I never finished it But it’s a pretty lighthearted Disney series
i don't like this trend of Disney removing queer themes from its animation projects. first Inside Out 2, now WIn or Lose? it's very concerning. they had a tiny bit or queerness in Lightyear and now they're backtracking. well, this is the same company that prematurely canceled The Owl House... At least the MCU has gotten better with representation, but that's not directly aimed at kids, so it's okay. we obv can't have our media corrupting the youths.
im watching the owl house now, still on season one but my friend and his daughter said it wraps up nicely? i didn't know it was canceled prematurely?
It was canceled before S2 aired. They had to rush the ending, whereas we should've gotten a third season
Yeah. I thought they did a good job with the episode order and time they were given to finish it, but watching those final few episodes definitely gives you an idea of how much of those storylines they probably would like to have spent more time on.
holy shit the ending to castlevania s3 is really fucking bleak (and like 50% of the season's animation budget went into its last two episodes)
finished Castlevania. really good. fight scenes are obv stunning. the dialogue is quite wonderful as well tho. perhaps my only gripe is its runtime should've been split into fewer, longer episodes, the cutoffs often felt jarring, arbitrary, and abrupt
that Invincible episode with Aaron Paul... man, that's some heavy stuff. we inevitably compare The Boys and Invincible a lot because they're both bloody superhero shows on Amazon, but yeah, I don't think The Boys could ever pull off something like that. two more to go.
damn, they really know how to wrap up a season. just one heavy hitter after another. Jeffrey Dean Morgan's really good at playing assholes haha
