Animals (HBO) TV Show

So excited, loved the first season

 

Can't wait for this to be back.

 

first episode was honestly brilliant

 

second one was great too. I love how dark this show is.

Also Killer Mike and Big Boi make an appearance in ep 2.

 

The beat the foxes rapped over was actually so cool haha. I know I heard Leapling in there and maybe also Porches? Unsure of the latter but whoever controls music on the show definitely know what they're doing.

It was hilarious. Seems like they're doubling down on the dark/existential stuff so far this season - life is meaningless seems to be the thread holding everything together. I loved the first season but this one is on track to be better, hope some other people start watching.

 

Absolutely. The music was fantastic in the first season too. They animated some other rappers in S1, but I can't remember who off the top of my head. Maybe Bronson or Danny Brown?!? I dunno...

Anyway, yeah, the first season was pretty dark, but this one seems to be even more so. Hope they keep this show going for a few more seasons.

 

Yeah the background stories ( government corruption/ Contagion) are great

 

Love this show.

 

Paul Rust and Mindy Kaling were both perfect of course

I love that that was Jonah Hill, and RuPaul was amazing too

 

I loved season 1, I need to catch up on season 2.

 

Live action episode was amazing. Maybe the best of the series.

The way the last episode ended, I thought it was the end of series. Glad we're getting more.
