Was just coming in to ask if anyone had heard anything about a stream somewhere.

 

i don't know anything but i would bet a stream today or tomorrow. doesn't feel like a release that won't have one

This is the only record I’ve listened to since I seen them the other night.

Ok at least we know not till Friday. Getting stingy on the streams. Stuff used to stream week or even earlier sometimes. Now it’s fifth single, I had heard 3/4 of the new Black Rebel Motorcycle Club before it was released. Seems like no stream or the polar opposite. With this album I would have streamed today and got the buzz all week up to Friday. I really feel like this will be their “The 59’ Sound” in a couple years. Matt is super talented. I feel like with Animal Flag he could pull a Radiohead and switch styles and it would still be genius. I’ll be honest there hasn’t been a ton of buzz on this record and I hope that changes after release and next tour. I really believe that this band has a bright future. In a way also reminds me of Matchbook Romance. Let’s just hope they stick around longer. I hope Andrew Jordan makes his way back to music. Another super talent

 

I hear so much late stage SDRE in some of this. It's so good.

 

My first few listens were a bit underwhelming to be honest. A few cool moments though for sure.

Made it through 4 songs on my lunch break. Don’t love how buried the vocals are on some parts but maybe that will grow on me

 

My only gripe on the second song they released was the buried vocals. Will never understand why artists think that sounds better. But, I’m excited to hear the rest of this thing. Also, if you haven’t purchased the first record yet, it’s close to being sold out on the band’s webstore.

 

First record? They may have way more than two albums, I meant the LP record. Pls do not kill me.

Void Ripper sounds like the most
Badass album name. That song also rips.

 

I really enjoyed the album. I’m still not sold on all of the production choices but the song writing and structures are soo up my alley. Great band.. can’t wait to give it a full listen with headphones as well.

 

The cymbals on “fair” are so raw but they really give the song a great live feel.

On second listen I already like this way More.
