So can anyone verify if the stringfish can only be caught above the top waterfall or is it any part of the river in the hilltops?

 

I’ve seen that it can be 2nd or 3rd level

 

I would assume it’s any part of the river in the hilltops. I just caught mine above the top waterfall but I know I’ve caught cherry salmon in the lower cliff areas so I would assume since they’re both listed as River (cliff) it should be the same.

 

I caught mine this morning in the small pond looking spot next to the hilltop.
