Yeah I know that after my first 3, I haven't encountered anyone else on other islands, but there comes a point where Nook has you set up a campsite, and then people come to you and you can ask them to stay

Very fun to craft 26 fish baits in pursuit of a blue marlin only to catch 17 sea bass and a couple of horse mackerel. Very fun.
