@oncenowagain if I pay off my one bedroom today do I get another room? Or does it just expand the bedroom?
So Tom is closing resident services tomorrow to remodel. Gonna be a long one waiting to cash in that money. Another reason to motivate me to pay off my loan today.
I don’t even share a Switch but the whole one island per Switch thing just makes me extremely upset whenever I think about it. Like how is that idea not thrown out as soon as it’s suggested. Fucking infuriating.
Especially for a game like this that’s ostensibly targeted towards kids/families. Imagine trying to juggle playing the game with your kid sibling. Like it’s actively insidious in a very basic, intuitive way
I let my girlfriend take the lead on the island and I basically play whenever she’s not. There are times where I feel like I’ve kind of missed out on things she got to experience(gathering materials for the new villagers, getting the museum set up) but most of the time I think it actually enhances my experience. Leaving gifts for eachother and stuff has been some of my favorite reasons to log on. Would absolutely suck ass with a sibling or whatever though
Is it possible to make a different island by a different switch account? Or do all accounts go to the same island
Advancing the island and getting things set up has been the core of my play so far, and I feel like someone who’s missing that would be missing a lot of the game. A lot of the stuff you can do with 2 people on a single island can also be done by two people visiting/mailing stuff to each other At the very least they should have gave you an option where one account could set up their own island or reside on someone else’s
