When you approach it and it goes up on its back legs you can hold your net in the ready position and just stop moving until it goes back down (it won’t run away or at you) Keeping your net in the ready position at all times, approach a little closer and it will go back on its back legs again. This is when you stop again and wait for it to settle back down. Continue to do this until you are close enough, then release your net.
I’ve gotten pretty good at it to the point where I just get the thing to chase me and when I have enough space to time it out, I just turn around and capture it.
im glad that the universe has found a way to screw with me even in this game. need regular wood? well guess what its hard and soft wood only bucko.
redeemed more nook miles for a ticket and have been to the same island now 3x in a row, very frustating.
For those not hurting on Bells and have enough in your back pocket, you have the option to potentially use them in later crafting materials. Of the two options, you’re likely better off keeping them in your inventory and holding on to them because you may need them later on in your game. If you sell them immediately, you won’t have access to them anymore, and gold nuggets are extremely hard to come by, whereas acquiring Bells is extremely easy, albeit, time-consuming. For instance, Gold Nuggets are used when crafting Gold Items, Gold Armor, and other crafting tools, so it’s worth keeping them if you want to show off. If you’re not hurting for money, keep those gold nuggets on you and continue searching around for other materials on the Mystery Islands and your own. There’s plenty to do on your island to earn more Nook Miles, so keep up the hard work.
I’m reading that even the golden tools can now break eventually though (unlike in previous games). Wtf is that shit
