Hell yeah got myself about 24k worth of hermit crabs and tarantulas here

 

not sure if you consider spending 15 minutes tailoring a random island to spawn only spiders an exploit (not to mention spending the next 20-30 minutes catching spiders), but stuff like these is pretty much how AC has operated. the widely accepted best way to farm back in New Leaf is something similar. the renovations get so much more expensive later in the game

never time travelled and never will (accidentally maybe), but i don’t mind if people do it

Somehow only just realized I could access my private beach and the harder to reach stone slab fishing spots at the back of my island

 

i added a radio and a lamp there, just to imply that someone got stranded

my wife is more direct and just straight out added a skeleton decoration

 

Ugh I just got all the pieces of the ghosts spirits and now he’s gone?

 

Yeah I kept having to chase off other bugs. Plus my island was bad. Too many vertical levels so moving around was a chore. Stopped at 7 tarantulas

 

My Amazon preorder has said arriving today since last week. However, it hasn't shipped. I suspect it wil not be arriving today. Or this month. Or next.

 

Fish bait at the pier only gives me common fish :(

Weirdly enough, I had been throwing it out at the very end of the pier like 20 times and was catching red snapper as the most rare fish, while all others were fairly common.

Then I just had the thought to turn my villager to face the screen (right side of the peer) and threw bait there.

First catch was a blue marlin lol

 

Damn kept thinking about doing this.


Maybe during the daytime it will be different

 

Gonna try that lol

 

1) how do you catch a tarantula? just good timing? They always bite me before I can net one

2) that photo conversion site is a game changer lol

 

Approach it slowly holding the net up and then swing at it when you're close enough
