How many villagers can live on your island? I’m wondering if I should be being choosy right now, or if there’s an ability to switch out residents later?

 

It used to be if you neglect a villager long enough you can get them to move out, its pretty cruel

You can apparently file a complaint with resident services later in the game everyday for a few days and kick em out

 

ok i started construction on my shop, the museum should he done tomorrow, and i paid off my first loan and immediately took out the next one lol. Think thats enough for today.

I need 5 more iron nuggets for the shop. Looks like I’m waiting until tomorrow tho since I destroyed all my rocks like the hulk. Didn’t realize you shouldn’t hit them unless you’re out of fruit super strength until it was too late.

I got a toilet as a present so immediately put it up next to resident services so I could piss on tom nook

 

Also, we can’t send items/fish/bugs to friends through mail right? We have to literally go to their islands? In fact, can you send any kind of mail to friends?

 

another PSA: if you want to help out friends complete/expand their nook catalog, instead of selling furniture you don’t need now, consider mailing it to them instead.

the way i did it in New Leaf, whenever i see furniture I think I might need later, i just buy it and give it away or sell it again. that way it’s already listed in the catalog but it doesn’t waste any storage space. this only works for On Sale items though.

 

inside the airport there’s a set of greeting cards. that lets you send mail to friends + 1 attached item

 

What do I have to do to get the bigger shop? I swear there’s something wrong with my game. I’ve donated the 15 items and talked to the shop guy and still nothing about a bigger shop. Talked to the airport guy multiple times and still no free tickets

 

On this note, does anyone want a wrestler bobble head figure? I can buy them at my shop today.

bigger shop or museum? If you give him the 15 insects/fish/fossils and talk to him after he says he can begin construction. Otherwise if you mean an actual shop they need 30 of each wood pieces and 30 iron nuggets
