But seriously. The joy of turning this game on first thing in he morning to see your new Bridge was seriously something else.
The amount of satisfaction I got from touring the museum for the very first time is a feeling I will never forget lol
Find a night where a couple of us can play, and I'll time travel to a night with Celeste/shooting stars lol
I understand they’re trying to prevent scalpers but this is messed up if you live in a big city and don’t drive, there’s still a pandemic.
It's a no win situation for them and Target. Do online and scalpers snipe them all, do in store and those jack-offs who crowd the card aisle until the shipment gets there will get them all (including any Pokemon and sports cards that come in). This way, you beat the online scalpers and give others a very slight chance. The state of collecting right now absolutely sucks.
I agree, they’re just completely ignoring people who can’t go to the stores in person the same way pokemon go doesn’t give a shit about them. “Oh well, they’ll just have to pay way more” isn’t a solution and very, very ableist bullshit.
Not necessarily, there are people who are walking into stores right now and hoarding a ton of stuff. Limiting the amount they can get is a good start. I don’t blame them for doing it, it’s just really unfair to a lot of people who can’t go for reasons out of their control.
Hence, the "jack-offs who crowd the card aisle until the shipment gets there" part. I've gone to Target to pick up other shit and saw 15 dudes crowding the card aisle waiting for shit to come in. If they released them like normal walk in and buy items, you wouldn't get them that way either.
Yeah this is what I’m getting at. I’ve seen this too many times also. I’d rather do the drive up thing than have bots buy them up online or these dudes that won’t let my 6 year old son buy a damn booster pack
Oh, that’s what you meant. That must be infuriating for anyone, especially the employees who have to deal with the assholes who complain about the limits. It really just sucks all around. I’m sure they’ll be some cool people willing to put their amiibos in for others who can’t get it, at least.
I've got a looooooooooot of Targets around here, and I do Shipt for a living, so if I'm out and about and see a store has a lot, I'll check in here and see if anyone needs. I can try to trickle some to some people in here as much as I can. I'm in Target *all the time* due to work lol
Just make the code available in the eShop so everyone can buy it. I don't understand the obsession with exclusivity from companies
Oh, I meant I could actually send the Card Packs to people thru the mail or whatnot, I figured you'd have to physically scan the cards cause that's the Nintendo track record so far lol
With all the other amiibo, someone can put a villager on their island and then get rid of them so you can get them like that. This is a new thing and it’s super lame.
