I finally got the golden slingshot, it took almost half a year for me to get another one after the first one fell in the bushes lol

 

How do you get golden stuff? I found a couple of nuggets on an island and I don't know what to do with them

 

• Golden Axe: Break 100 axes, the easiest being Flimsy Axes.
• Golden Slingshot: Shoot down 300 balloons. After hitting this milestone, look to the skies for a gold-colored balloon. Shoot that down and the DIY recipe will be inside.
• Golden Fishing Rod: Catch every fish in the Critterpedia. The complete list of 80 fish can be found here. It appears that Museum donations are not required for this. The recipe will come in the mail the day after you catch the final fish.
• Golden Watering Can: Reach a 5-star town ranking. Isabelle will give you the DIY recipe after giving you this rating.
• Golden Net: Currently unconfirmed, but in every game prior, the requirement was to catch every bug. This seems highly likely given the Golden Fishing Rod requirement. We’re working toward confirmation.
• Golden Shovel: Currently unconfirmed. Sources are reporting that this requires saving Gulliver on the beach 30 times, but we’ve yet to see an official confirmation or video proof of this. We’re working toward confirmation.

I gotta be getting close with the shovel, I make a point to do the Gulliver/Gullivarrr things whenever they show up as I time travel, and I've done a lot.

 

Talked to my villagers for the first time in 7 months today

 

I went kinda hard on Festivale. Caught a bunch of feathers, crafted some stuff, got some gifts. Most I've played in a sitting in months.

There probably won’t be new characters until the end of this year lol

 

I hate that I feel obligated to get one of those. If I'm lucky enough to cop one.

Most likely, even though all eyes are on Pokemon cards again

Can’t believe they haven’t made any of the new characters as amiibo yet, probably in the next character update. Been wanting to kick judy out for awhile.

 

Even the regular amiibo card reprints flew off the shelf and I never really saw them in stock anymore. So good luck with these

It's a fan made Animal Crossing short, and it is the cutest little short. Very funny and really gets the heart of the game.

The warp pipes are game changers lol. I have my house on the opposite side of my island from everyone else and put one by my door and one by their houses lol

 

I haven’t played in months but that may get me back on lol

 

Yeah some of these items, especially the blocks, open up some cool design possibilities too. Too bad you can still only order 5 things a day. I still don't time travel.
