The Halloween update is coming out tonight I believe. I was just clearing space for it.

Anyone have the pumpkin dude for the Halloween event? The game updated and literally nothing changed haha

The update happened today to sync everyone up globally, but the pumpkin stuff won’t appear till tomorrow. I just checked because I woke up at like 7:30 am hype to plant my pumpkins and was sorely disappointed.

 

Played a significant amount today (20 whole minutes!!) to set up my pumpkin patch. Realized there's a ton of fall DIY available that I don't have.....

 

As someone who hasn’t really played in a few months, how can I get any fall DIYs I may have missed?

They’re random for the most part so just keep checking to see if your islanders are crafting, shoot down balloons you see, and pick up the daily recipes from the beach. The only guaranteed one you get is from Isabelle. Also the pine cones and acorns are available until the beginning of the December so you should still be able to get the recipes until then.

 

Got my pumpkin patch finished. Also love the skin coloring options. I can be an actual zombie now.

 

Also apparently watering the pumpkins multiple times a day can produce more pumpkins per spot.

 

From what I've seen, not watering leads to one pumpkin per patch, watering leads to two, and watering with the golden watering can leads to three. I could be wrong tho, haven't tried myself, just read online.

Kicks has Halloween items now, I just got Imp Wings from him.

 

What about having friends water?

I'm back to inviting friends and going places because you can get more candy that way too

 

Don't think friends makes a difference, and no golden pumpkins, but there are four different colors that are entirely random.

 

I have the weekend off. I might play this

Finally played this two days in a row. Didn't realize it had been two months. Had 126 weeds plus 2 cockroaches in my house haha. But all in on this update

I'm not sure but I bought a Spooky Tower in my shop today and then got the DIY for it five minutes later from a villager
