Haha same! I booted it up and ... It is not anywhere near as good as I remembered lol. New Horizons improved so much

 

I had Julia move in from Green New a few weeks ago. Whoever she belonged to, thank you. I love her. She's so darn cute and the interior of her house is beautiful. She's also the only villager I ever see sitting on the actual furniture I've placed instead of on the ground. Reading a book with her glasses. She's my favorite and not even a top character. I also have Dom and Coco from being campsite visitors. Still haven't done any villager hunting, just progressing naturally.

I have not played this in a very long time. Sometimes I want to pick it up but then I think of all the weeds I’ll probably have

 

I’m probably going to pick it up again soon since it’s fall in my game. Hopefully they announce another free update soon as well.

 

I'm still playing for 10 minutes or so almost every day. Pretty much just to check if Redd or Gulliver is there. It's good to see the changing seasons too.

 

I play every few days now, just to check up on everything, make sure the weeds and flowers don't take over lol. Also still in the process of moving my houses around so I can make yards for my residents. I could have been done weeks ago if I wasn't lazy and only move one house every few days lol

 

I haven’t played since probably the end of July, lol. Kinda got stuck playing other games and I want to redo my island but haven’t had any motivation to do so. I’ll probably play again though in the next few weeks especially with the new season

 

Yeah I haven't played in months

 

Last time for me was May 30, I had 556 bell turnips and made about 150 NMT from selling and then never played again hahahaha

 

I check in like once a week, still haven't paid off my basement lol

 

End of May for me as well. I’ll pick it up again but it’ll definitely never be the same. One thing is for sure, I’ll always cherish those few months of playing nonstop with all of you as one of my favorite video game memories ever!!

I do miss the days when every night someone would open their gates cause they had Celeste, or when we would all anxiously wait for someone to have a large spike for their turnips. Good times lol

 

Weren't they planning a decent update for the fall or am I just imagining that?

 

At the moment there are some fall style DIYs you can get. Acorns and pine cones drop from trees now. I'm sure there will be updates for Halloween next month.

 

I believe they announced there would be a fall update but I don’t think there is a date yet.

 

Definitely good times, hope the next game has more to keep fans preoccupied but I really doubt that happens.

Also, ben is the only one who refused to add me as a bestie so I’m not surprised he left me out lol

 

Probably for Halloween? Although, it seems odd that they’d just skip a month.

same. Animal Crossing releases are always my favorite moments. I’m sure at some point it’ll click again where our play times will all be in sync once more. I’m excited for Halloween

 

I DO wanna build some snowmen eventually. And make mushroom furniture.
