Huh what's the difference between uploading game data vs save data? If you're copying your whole island over... Doesn't that mean your save data is in tact because it has all your items and whatnot?

If you visit a dream island can you actually do anything, or just walk around and look? Like I assume you can't pick fruit or shop, right?

 

I don’t understand what’s so cool about the dream island thing, at all. Very lackluster compared to the last update.

Some people have hacked games to get trees with star fragments, I’m not sure how though.

 

I just assumed they must have put them in the lit up holes? I never even thought to try that though so I have no idea.

 

Yeah I don’t think it’s legitimate unfortunately. It is cool looking thought lol.

 

Feel like the game will he more active during the next few months since some old characters will return but yea, a bunch of these updates are just very average. It’s weird to think how many standard things they still haven’t improved.

 

I... don't get the point of the Dream thing? I figured when I heard about it that you could just visit random islands, assumed it was for people like my gf who don't really know how/where to find online friends/islands to visit, but you need a code to visit any of them anyway? and you can't bring anything back that you find? I haven't visited anyone yet but uh... what's the point?

 

To be honest that kinda makes me feel better about my mediocre island when I compare it to those ridiculous ones, knowing they’re a bunch of cheats lol

 

I haven't done any of the dream stuff yet, but I think the point is that people can come visit your island even when you don't open it up through the airport? Just to show it off, rather than doing anything active.
