I had a villager move out and I'm touring islands to look for a new villager and the first one I come upon is Flo. She is such a cutie. Do I go for the first villager I come across? Anyone have any advice on Flo?

 

Next time I villager hunt I’m not coming back until I get stitches or lucky

I remember I passed on Sherb once...now he's #3 overall. Also have passed on Merengue who is #13. At the end of the day though unless you're trying to trade them or something it doesn't matter how popular they are, it matters how much you like them.

Seriously, folks, just take villagers you actually like.

I had Marina (who is top 10 on the rankings) on an island and I passed on her to keep looking for someone else because I already had an octopus. The rankings really don't mean anything, just go for someone you like.

 

Some games just have way more luck than others, too. My friend gets any villager in the top whatever like candy and it takes me 20-30 nmt just to maybe get one lol

 

Ive been trying to get Big Top to leave since week 2 of the game and so far literally everyone has asked to move except him.

 

I would take Wart Jr to replace Big Top at this point

 

it should definitely be easier to get a villager to leave. i've just been straight ignoring some of them for a few weeks now and only one of them has left.
