Just checked my island eval and still 4 star. Isabelle tells me there is a "teeny tiny" complaint and it is that too many items are lying around. I don't have shit lying around the fuck you want me to do. Do items and DIY on tables count?

my SO had a 4 star island with a DIY and present area, she picked everything up and they gave her 5 stars lol. It’s crazy how much it matters having items laid out.

 

Yeah it's pretty stupid. I like being able to keep extra things on the ground for other people but you can't have a 5 star if you do that...

Is there any real functional reason to have a 5-star island after getting the Golden Watering Can beyond *having* a 5-star island?

 

Your island can grow the Lily of the Valley only when you are at 5 stars. That's how I first found out I got 5 stars. I randomly found one growing.

But then I put too much stuff on the ground so I haven't grown another one in a long time.

 

Aaaaaah, that's right, I forgot the Lily of the Valley.
