I'm pretty sure they made it known along time ago that there wasn't cloud saving for the AC saves. Hopefully, they can change that in the future.

Lmao the same thing happened to me. I had Norma move in on my island from @alina's and I never talked to her when she was moving out lol.

 

They have priority to go to someone on your friends list even if you never even visited my island haha glad she avoided the void
