Does redd sell the items that have color variations? The hose reel he was selling today I think was a different color than the one in the nook shop
Different people’s nook stops appear to have different variations even of the basic items. If you’ve unlocked the shopping app on the phone you can look at other people’s special items when you’re on their island but you can’t actual buy.
I *think* that Nook's ATM, The Cranny, and Red all have distinct selections, but I have no proof beyond what i've seen myself at them.

No you can’t buy anything. But you should be able to see their daily special items. For me, these items rotate through the same things, hose reel, flamingo, gnome, telescope, tape deck, etc. It’s always the same. When I’m on other islands I see people have different variations.
