If they pick someone you want to keep though, you immediately turn it off. Don’t press A or finish the convo. As soon as they say the villagers name you don’t press anything, just go to your home screen and close the game until they pick someone you want to kick out

Read what I wrote above and ignore the timeskipping part of this video, you just have to close the game immediately if they pick a villager you want to keep and do it over and over again until it’s a villager you don’t like.
