How do you get the axe DIY recipe? I got the mirror recipe too but I haven’t been able to cut down trees yet.

 

I feel like I'm doing all this wrong which is kinda amazing considering the entire game is just goofing around and having fun

I think it means you need a shovel and that there’s a fossil there.

Every time I play Animal Crossing I have to not really discuss it with any of my friends that play it because they're so efficient and good at it and I'm just like super casual chilling. I hate feeling like I'm bad at such a relaxing and cute game, and I hate trying to play with the mindset of no XP waste. It's tough lol

I’ve gotten by so far by just using flimsy axe that lets you knock wood off the trees without cutting them down. Haven’t gotten the upgraded axe recipe yet.
