Apparently if your island is full and a villager is moving out of someone else’s island, you can invite them and kick someone out.

Today is the first day where I wasn't excited to play. Don't need any new bridges or inclines in the near future. Have a good amount of money. Only need the Atlas Month. Don't have enough furniture for the projects I want to start. I guess that's kind of what this game becomes once the newness wears off. You just check in for a few minutes every day.
