Has anyone else grown a little less excited with the game after dumping so many hours in the first couple of weeks? I still love it, but I don't find myself playing nearly as much. I mainly go in each day to get and sell things that change each day, like buying furniture from the shop, selling all my fruit, getting fossils and hitting rocks. Other than that, I haven't been doing a whole lot
I’ve kind of fallen into this mode too, but I still enjoy doing those things every day. Some of the random events are getting me to play differently too. Like yesterday Isabelle told me I would have good luck, and CJ happened to be on my island, so I spent some time fishing for rare fish and added quite a few to my collection I didn’t have. Stuff like that makes it feel worth checking in on every day, at least to me. I’m also just gathering up nook miles and unlocking paths and stuff for when I eventually want to renovate my entire town to make it look better. But that’s a bigger project. Maybe I’ll start construction on that this weekend, but I’m enjoying gathering up objects and resources for when I eventually want to put the time into that as well.
I’m still taking my time and enjoying it. I did take a few breaks in between, though. There’s probably gonna be a few new things by June so I’m excited for that.
that's usually how AC works you play a million hours a day for 2 weeks and then start playing less and then you settle on a routine, and only start spending a few extra hours if you have a specific thing in mind.
As my first time playing, the 2nd day I was just obsessed with visiting islands and making money and at one point I just realized I was like trying to beat the game and it's not that type of game lol. I'm just relaxing now, just wanna fill up the museum right now
idk I’m pretty content with spending countless hours at the beginning on building infrastructure/situating the island how I want, then just kind of casually playing after I get to a certain point.
I had enough for one horse! Haha. If I could get more pieces I’d definitely be into making a few more.
I think all the stupid egg stuff sapped a lot of the initial excitement. I've given up on fishing because it's just a bunch of stupid eggs. Hopefully things will improve after the event ends.
It bums me out that the eggs really ruined enjoyment for some. I honestly don’t mind them at all......
Like don’t get me wrong it’s cool that it’s over in a couple days but I’ve literally been fine with it.
Same, really. I just got the basement so I’m trying to plot what I’m gonna do with that extra space before housing ratings on Sunday. lol
I’ve broken a fishing pole today and did not catch a single egg today. I thought they were gone honestly haha
I thought the Cherry Blossom event ended yesterday, but I must have been wrong cause they're still around - when is it running until? Or is it the whole spring?
yeah, it's definitely not that kind of game. just worried for people who get stressed out when they see other people’s islands. it’s supposed to be a game that helps mental health not make you feel worse about yourself how did you get aries fragments?
You get them with the shooting stars. I guess you get them less frequently though I think I got like 20 regular star pieces and three Aries pieces.
Would’ve been cool if the cherry blossoms had their own event instead of being extremely rare because of stupid eggs but hey
Can't wait for the egg event to be over so I can stop hearing my residents tell me the "strangest thing is happening! Eggs are all over the place!" etc...
