just used a nook miles ticket and came to a surprisingly small island and caught like 7 goddamn Carps in a row. caught a few giant water bugs for the first time too! was really confused as to what i was looking at since i'd never seen them before, lol. also managed to catch like 3 Atlas Moths after scaring away 3 in a row in as many consecutive days. luckily CJ was on my island so i unloaded like 15k worth of fish i caught there onto him. i REALLY hope Flick comes tomorrow (or soon) so i can sell these bugs and get a way better price
He’s never leaving my town either. I love his Japanese themed house so much. I crafted a cherry blossom bonsai tree for him and it fits in his house soooo well.
This game hates me with the islands. I never get anything other than my native fruit. And I never get ideal islands for tarantulas
Apparently if you do the delight reaction at the DoDo airport guy until he blushes right before you fly you get a better chance of getting good islands.
I was saving a ton of them from a tarantula island I was on last week and yesterday got antsy to pay off my loan so I sold them all to Nook's and of course Flick is waiting outside my door this morning.
yeah it sucks, but to get any “special” islands there is only a 2 percent chance for each one. While one like bamboo island is like 10 percent.
My turnip prices went down again this morning instead of making another turn upward so idk about the camel humo spike anymore lol
Been playing this for the first time, played a ton yesterday, so addicting. I've done like maybe six or seven islands and found a big orange one twice (my island is apples)
